Support of Charity

Stanley Lambert Wines again participated in the Annual Variety Club’s Bash, taking place from August 12th to August 20th. This year’s bash was comprised of 18 mobile workshops (2005), 12 official cars and 90 competing teams. The main aim of the Bash is to raise funds for the disabled and disadvantaged kids of South Australia.

Lesley Stanley has been very active in this charity, and oversees one of the winery’s entries.

The Barossa team has raised in excess of $400,000 for Variety Club SA of which 92 cents of the dollar goes to the kids. The team over the years has been awarded “Outright Winners” in 1998 and 2000, “Best Fun Theme” in 1999 and “Ultimate Cheating and Bribing Award” in 2000.
This year South Australia raised a total of $1.4 (AU) million for the charity.
