First Kiss Rosé

These sunny warmer spring days could not be better for enjoying a cold refreshing glass of rosé!

A rosé wine is a wine made from red grapes, but made in a style more similar to that of a white wine.  There are different ways of producing a rosé wine, which can result in a range of colours, fragances and flavours.

Our First Kiss Rose is made from Zinfandel grapes.  Once harvested the grapes are crushed and the juice is left to sit on skins for a few hours to extract a touch of color.  It is lightly pressed and fermented at cold temperatures to ensure the fruity aromatics and flavours are retained.  Lees stirring helps build the texture and creaminess of this wine, giving it a round, harmonious finish.

Named ‘First Kiss’ because it is only the touch of colour from the first contact, that kiss, of the grape skins on the juice.  It just may happen to be a similar blush you got from your first kiss…

Warm lazy afternoons while sipping on this lively, creamy, strawberry filled wine are perfection.  Grab a bottle today!
